About Project
The survey includes, but is not limited to, the opening of critical equipment for verification that the equipment has been kept in a safe and reliable working condition, testing of safety equipment and systems, and review of the applicable test results and certification. The survey will cover the following areas: drilling equipment, mud system, BOP and well control equipment, electrical equipment, power plant, safety equipment, maintenance system and spare parts.
Scope of Work
- Visual inspection of all the components of the drilling/Workover rig and the testing of the equipment’s that be at his reach:
- The main subjects to be inspected will be the following listed items:
- Check the inventory of parts offered by the company that supply the drilling rig
- Check the technical requirements of QHSE included in the attachments that make part of the drilling rig contract.
- Check firefighting equipment.
- General safety equipment and accessories (extinguishers, stretchers, first aid kits etc.)
- Check general shape and state of the Blow out Preventer equipment and accumulators, etc.
- Check well controls certifications according with the requirements of the scope of rig contract.
- Inspect drawworks, brakes, and drilling line.
- Inspect substructure, derrick, hoist system and accessories, rotary table, power swivel and crow-O-matic.
- Inspect circulating system equipment, mud tanks, pumps, and lines.
- Engines, Generators, electric system, (Explosion Proof.), Noise isolation according to EIA or PMA.
- Site camps in good conditions and proper functioning, air conditioning, land connection etc.
- Preventive Maintenance Program of the calibration equipment, Black Light inspection of tools, etc.
- Ensure the quality of the inspection of drill pipe, drill collars, cross overs, and any other item in the tools inventory, validate thru a checklist and include a copy of all inspection certificates presented by the drilling rig contractor in the final report. This must fulfill everything accorded in the contract between client and the drilling rig owner contract. In addition to this recommendation, it should be ensured to client, the quality of the items inspected looking at the future projects.
- Proper functioning of all components of the drilling rig and recommendations to make sure rig will function properly.
- Capacity of drilling rig: engines, mud pumps, draw works, traveling block, derrick etc. Make emphasis and report.
